I need ideas!

So, I know I'm a complete dork, but I love dressing my kids up for Halloween in something that goes together. I just think it adds to the effect when there's more than one person. Angel and Grins, for example have been:

Salt & Pepper Shakers
A Flower and a Bee
Raggedy Anne and Andy
A Prince and a Knight (Angel's idea, of course, but Grins loved the sword!)

Now that we have 3 kids, though, things are getting a bit trickier. I need a really good idea for a "threesome" they can do for Halloween. I've thought of the 3 Stooges or the 3 Musketeers but those just don't seem cute for kids (and they wouldn't even know what they were). And the 3 little pigs or 3 bears might work - but aren't super exciting. Any brilliant ideas out there? If you can come up with a winner, I'll give you a whole bag of Halloween candy to use any way you want - you can pass it out on Halloween and save yourself a few bucks, or you can hoard it all to yourself and I won't tell a soul. :)

So, give 'em to me!!!!

Hmm, first threesome that comes to mind is Larry, Moe, and Curly. :)

How about Peter Pan for your boy, Wendy or Tinkerbell for your oldest girl and Nana (the dog) for the baby? That would be cute!

I am sure your good hubby can remember our fun with costumes over the years. I think the most unusual was the pencil. Mom made that one and it was used a lot. We probably still have a few of the old ones around. The dinosaur was a popular one as well as was the pirate. We had a couple that were made for road shows that were used, but they were adult sized, such as the purple people eater. I think we did an old Mac Computer one year and a toaster (easy with cardboard boxes). I remember one with a lot of aluminum foil, but I don't recall what that was, maybe that was the toaster. Ask Mom, I am sure she can come up with a few more.

Love, Dad

3 blind mice; Toilet, paper, & plunger (I just saw the cutest mini-plunger at Sunroc yesterday) because you know that with small kids, it's all about potty training!; and I happen to think that 3 little pigs is charming and old-fashioned in a good way.

P.S. - Please send my big bag of Halloween candy to arrive that morning as I don't want it tempting me beforehand. :-)

So I was thinking The little Mermaid. Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian. I also was looking through movies and Thought Monsters Inc. would be cute. Sully, Mike, and Bo. I think that would be soooo cute:)

My sister-in-law does her family costumes like this and my favorite was Dorothy and other wizard of oz characters (lion, tin man, witch, etc.). She's also done Alice in Wonderland though she had a much harder time with the other costumes (mad hatter, bunny, cat...) While I've been writing this Millie has asked five times to go back and look at Snow White, so I think I have found her costume idea. Thanks!!

Yoda, Princess Leah, and Luke Skywalker...
Saw the cutest costumes at smith's marketplace. I was so tempted to get the Yoda costume for Brock...there was also a "Chuy" costume that was way cute. :0)
